Xiaomi Mijia Wireless Vacuum Cleaner 4 Debuts With Smart Dust Detection

Xiaomi has introduced the Mijia Wireless Vacuum Cleaner 4 in China with smart features and the convenience of wireless operation, unlike standard vacuum cleaners.

The Xiaomi Mijia Wireless Vacuum Cleaner 4 uses a brushless motor operating at 120,000 RPM. According to Xiaomi, the vacuum delivers 230AW suction power with a maximum suction force of 25,000Pa for handling dust, crumbs, pet hair, and other household debris.

The cleaning head includes a 180-degree blue light system that illuminates floors up to 30 centimeters ahead to make fine dust easier to see in darker areas and under furniture.

Xiaomi also designed the cleaning head to support right-side edge cleaning for collecting dirt along walls and baseboards.

The vacuum uses an infrared sensor to monitor dust levels and automatically adjust suction power in Smart Mode depending on floor conditions.

Battery and Filtration The vacuum is powered by a removable eight-cell, 2600 mAh battery. Xiaomi claims the device can run for up to 90 minutes in energy-saving mode.

Battery life ranges from 18 to 37 minutes in Smart Mode, depending on cleaning conditions, while maximum suction mode reduces runtime to around 10 minutes.

Because the battery is detachable, users can replace it with a charged spare battery if needed.

For filtration, the vacuum uses a 12-cone cyclone system along with a five-stage filtration setup. The system includes an H13 HEPA filter that Xiaomi said can capture 99.99% of particles as small as 0.3 microns.

To reduce hair tangling, Xiaomi equipped the vacuum with a dual anti-tangle system.

The main floor brush uses a built-in comb structure, while the motorized mite brush uses a floating mechanism designed to direct hair into the suction channel.

The vacuum cleaner includes a main floor brush, a motorized mite brush, and a 2-in-1 crevice tool.

Additional features include an LED display for battery and cleaning mode information, along with a wall-mounted charging and storage dock.

The cordless vacuum cleaner is priced at roughly $146 in China.
