Sindh Govt Announces Eid ul Fitr Holidays

The Sindh government has announced two public holidays on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr, according to a notification issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department.

The notification states that March 20 and 21, 2026, Friday and Saturday, will be observed as public holidays across the province.

All government offices, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies, corporations and local councils under the administrative control of the Sindh government will remain closed during this period, except essential services.

The announcement aligns with the federal government’s decision, which has also declared March 20 and 21 as public holidays on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr.
