Detailed Report
Users can create a guest chat invite link from the “Invite a friend” section or from the bottom of the contacts list. The link can be shared through SMS or copied and sent through email or other messaging apps.
Guests must enter a name after joining. It can be a nickname, but a recognizable name is recommended.
Guest chats offer limited features. They do not support group chats, media sharing, stickers, voice messages, photos, videos, documents, GIFs, or voice and video calls.
Guest chats expire after 10 days of inactivity. A new invite link must be created to continue the conversation.
Guests may not receive notifications for new messages, so they must check the chat manually.
Users can block guests the same way they block regular contacts. Open the chat, tap the guest name, and select “Block.” Once blocked, the guest cannot send messages.
Only guests who receive the invite link from the user can contact them.
