Detailed Report
Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced revised prices for Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) for March 2026, reflecting a significant increase compared to the previous month.
According to a press release issued on Thursday, the new prices have been determined in line with the policy guidelines of the federal government and came into effect from March 1, 2026.
For March, RLNG transmission and distribution prices for consumers served by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) have been set at $12.4913 per MMBtu and $13.5516 per MMBtu, respectively. These rates are higher than February’s prices of $10.4686 per MMBtu for transmission and $11.3345 per MMBtu for distribution.
Similarly, for consumers under Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL), the RLNG transmission price has been fixed at $11.0169 per MMBtu, while the distribution price stands at $12.5354 per MMBtu. In February, the corresponding prices were $9.0301 per MMBtu and $10.2704 per MMBtu, respectively.
OGRA said the increase in RLNG prices is mainly due to higher Delivered Ex-Ship (DES) prices, along with increased import-related costs and terminal charges.
The regulator added that the detailed RLNG price notification for March 2026 is available on its official website.
