Detailed Report
Soon after the release of MacBook Neo, Acer unveiled its own budget laptop in the same price category, but with more memory onboard.
Acer has introduced the Acer Go 16 (N25JJ3), a new laptop designed for office productivity and everyday multitasking. The device combines Intel’s Core 5 processor with a large 16-inch display and ample memory and storage.
The laptop is powered by the Intel Core 5 210H processor paired with 16GB LPDDR5 5200 RAM and a 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD. This configuration is designed to support smooth multitasking and fast data access for productivity tasks.
The Acer Go 16 features a 16-inch display with a resolution of 1920 × 1200. The slightly taller aspect ratio is intended to make working with documents, spreadsheets, and web pages more comfortable.
The panel covers 45 percent of the NTSC color gamut, indicating that it is primarily designed for office and general-purpose use rather than color-critical work.
For thermal management, Acer has included a dual-fan cooling system with dual heat pipes. The laptop also offers three selectable performance modes to adjust system behavior depending on workload.
The device includes a 65Wh battery rated for up to 10 hours of use. The chassis measures 17.9 mm in thickness and weighs 1.81 kg. Additional features include a backlit keyboard and an HD webcam equipped with a physical privacy switch.
Connectivity options include Wi Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The laptop also provides several ports, including USB-C, three USB-A ports, HDMI 1.4, RJ45 Ethernet, a microSD card slot, and a 2-in-1 audio jack.
The Acer Go 16 is priced at about $596 in China, which is the same as Apple’s MacBook Neo launch price.
