Detailed Report
Maple Leaf Cement Factory Limited (MLCF) reported its highest-ever consolidated profit after tax for FY26, driven largely by the full-year consolidation of its recently acquired subsidiary, Pioneer Cement Limited (PIOC), while also approving a series of intra-group working capital arrangements.
The company posted a consolidated profit after tax of Rs. 12.56 billion, up from Rs. 11.50 billion a year earlier, while earnings per share increased to Rs. 11.34 from Rs. 10.98.
Consolidated revenue climbed 24 percent to Rs. 85.15 billion, compared with Rs. 68.65 billion in FY25. Gross profit rose to Rs. 31.61 billion, while operating profit increased to Rs. 24.59 billion.
The record earnings were primarily supported by the acquisition of Pioneer Cement, whose financial performance was consolidated for the full fiscal year. According to Arif Habib Ltd estimates, the acquisition provided a meaningful boost to the group's profitability and is expected to support future earnings growth.
Alongside the results, the board approved up to Rs. 2 billion in loans and advances to Kohinoor Textile Mills Limited (KTML), the company's holding company, and another Rs. 2 billion to Maple Leaf Capital Limited (MLCL) for working capital requirements, subject to shareholder approval.
The company also said it expects KTML's board to recommend a reciprocal Rs. 2 billion working capital facility for Maple Leaf Cement. The approvals follow Pioneer Cement's recent decision to provide up to Rs. 4 billion in financing to Maple Leaf Cement, extending the group's broader intra-group capital management strategy.
The company did not recommend any cash dividend, bonus shares, or right shares for the year ended June 30, 2026. Shareholders will consider the related-party financing proposals at the annual general meeting scheduled for September 17, 2026.
