100 Stray Dogs Killed in Punjab City After Death of 7-Year-Old Child

District Council teams eliminated 100 stray dogs during a large-scale operation in Sultan Colony and surrounding areas at the direction of Assistant Commissioner Malik Iqbal Lang.

The crackdown continued for the second consecutive day after the recent death of a seven-year-old schoolboy in a stray dog attack triggered concern among residents.

According to the administration spokesperson, nearly 100 stray dogs were eliminated during the latest operation, while action remained underway in different streets and localities of Sultan Colony and nearby areas.

Officials said the operation would continue until the stray dog menace is brought under control, adding that protection of citizens’ lives and safety remains the administration’s top priority.
