Punjab to Showcase ‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar’ Program at International Urban Forum

The Punjab government has decided to establish the “Punjab Pakistan Pavilion” at the World Urban Forum to showcase its housing and urban development initiatives on a global platform.

The pavilion will feature the “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” program, described as the world’s largest interest-free low-cost housing initiative.

The project aims to provide affordable housing to low-income citizens through innovative housing models.

The Urban Expo will be held on May 18, 2026, at the Olympic Stadium in Baku, where Punjab will present its development vision and public welfare projects to an international audience.

Officials expect the Punjab Pakistan Pavilion to become a major attraction at the World Urban Forum.

The provincial government will highlight its achievements in urban development, affordable housing, and social welfare reforms.

International experts, investors, and development organizations are expected to participate in the event, providing Punjab with an opportunity to promote its successful housing model and strengthen global partnerships in urban development.
