Mr. Masood Nabi Elected Chairman of PPEPCA

Mr. Masood Nabi, a distinguished oil and gas sector professional, has been elected Chairman of the Pakistan Petroleum Exploration and Production Companies Association (PPEPCA).

PPEPCA serves as the representative body of Pakistan’s upstream oil and gas exploration and production sector, comprising leading local and international E&P companies operating across the country. The Association plays a pivotal role in policy advocacy, industry collaboration, and constructive engagement with stakeholders to promote the sustainable growth of Pakistan’s petroleum sector.

Mr. Nabi currently serves as Managing Director and CEO of Government Holdings (Private) Limited (GHPL). He brings more than 25 years of diversified experience across the petroleum, energy, mining, and financial sectors, having held senior leadership positions in both the public and private domains.

He holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

On his election, PPEPCA and its member companies extended their warm congratulations to Mr. Nabi, expressing confidence that his leadership will further advance the collective objectives of Pakistan’s upstream petroleum industry and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s energy security.
