PESCO Introduces New Facility for Electricity Bill Payment

The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has launched a QR code-based system for electricity bill payments, enabling consumers to pay their bills online without visiting banks or payment centers.

Under the new system, QR codes have been printed on electricity bills, allowing users to scan the code and complete payments from home.

Consumers can use mobile banking applications as well as digital wallets, including JazzCash and Easypaisa, to make payments through the QR feature.

PESCO has advised consumers to verify their name and address on the bill before scanning the code to avoid errors.

The company added that a confirmation message after payment will serve as proof that the bill has been successfully paid.
