Motorola has introduced the Moto Buds 2 Plus alongside its latest smartphones and Razr foldables.
The Moto Buds 2 Plus succeed the original Moto Buds+ launched in 2024. The new model arrives $50 cheaper than its predecessor. Like the earlier version, the earbuds feature sound tuning by Bose.
The Moto Buds 2 Plus use 11mm drivers designed to deliver stronger bass. They also include Knowles balanced armatures for improved clarity and precision.
The earbuds support Hi-Res Audio through the LHDC codec and also include Spatial Audio.
Motorola has equipped the earbuds with Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation. The device uses six microphones in total.
Through the Moto Buds companion app, users can enable CrystalTalk AI, which applies AI-based noise reduction to improve voice clarity in noisy environments.
The Moto Buds 2 Plus offer up to nine hours of playback on a single charge. Total battery life reaches up to 40 hours when used with the charging case. The earbuds support dual connection for switching between two devices.
They also include Audio Share, allowing two pairs of Moto Buds 2 Plus to connect to the same phone at the same time.
Wear detection is also included, automatically pausing playback when one earbud is removed.
The starting price for these earbuds is $149.99.
