Detailed Report
Logitech’s gaming division, Logitech G, has announced the Logitech G512 X TMR Analog/Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, a new keyboard focused on modular design and deep customization for players.
Similar to controllers, this keyboard is able to respond to how hard you press each key, enabling a whole new dimension of input for keyboards. This should not only help with racing games, but also with tactical shooters.
This is all thanks to the G512 X’s Tunnel Magneto Resistance, or TMR, sensor technology that enables analog input.
Logitech has equipped the keyboard with Dual Swap Capability, allowing users to combine analog and mechanical switches in one setup.
The keyboard includes 39 hybrid TMR switch sockets compatible with widely used 3-pin and 5-pin switches.
Logitech ships the keyboard with nine Gateron KS-20 analog switches preinstalled for immediate analog functionality.
The company said the G512 X delivers 8K performance with a 0.125 millisecond response time for faster keystroke recognition.
It also includes SAPP Rings, which let users assign two different actions to a single key depending on press depth.
The keyboard features two physical rotary controls and an RGB Lightbar for lighting effects.
The G512 X is available in 75-key and 98-key layouts. Logitech said the rear section includes storage space for keycap pullers, spare switches, and SAPP rings.
An acrylic palm rest is also available separately for users seeking added comfort during longer sessions.
The keyboard comes in black and white color options. Logitech has priced the 75-key version at $179.99, while the 98-key version costs $199.99.
It is available starting today through LogitechG.com and will reach global retailers on May 2, 2026.
