Pakistan Army Validates Fateh-II Missile System in Successful Launch Test

Pakistan’s Army has carried out a successful training launch of the locally developed Fateh-II missile system. The test highlights continued progress in the country’s defense technology and operational capability.

According to the military media wing, the launch was conducted by the Army Rocket Force Command. It was part of routine troop training and aimed at checking the system’s readiness for operational use.

The Fateh-II missile comes with advanced avionics and modern navigation systems. These upgrades are designed to improve strike accuracy and enhance survivability in complex conditions.

During the exercise, multiple technical parameters were tested. The performance of integrated sub-systems was also evaluated to ensure the missile meets required operational standards. Officials confirmed that the system performed as expected throughout the test.

Senior officers from the Strategic Plans Division, Army Rocket Force Command, and Pakistan Army observed the launch. Scientists and engineers from national strategic organizations were also present on site.

Officials said the successful test reflects steady progress in indigenous defense development. They also noted that such exercises help strengthen overall operational readiness.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the teams involved in the launch. The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and all services chiefs also praised the effort. They appreciated the technical expertise, commitment, and professionalism shown by the teams.
