National Assembly Warns Students About Fake Internship Ads

The National Assembly (NA) Secretariat has warned the public against fake advertisements and online links circulating on social media and job portals that falsely invite applications for internships.

In a statement, the Secretariat said it has not issued any public call for internship applications through online platforms or third-party websites.

It said the Summer 2026 internship programme is being conducted through a structured process, under which selected universities are being contacted directly to nominate students in line with the approved framework.

The Secretariat urged students to remain cautious and avoid submitting personal information or applications through unauthorized links or websites.

It added that action may be taken against individuals involved in spreading false or misleading information. Officials said any announcements related to National Assembly programmes will only be made through official and verified channels.
