ChatGPT Images 2.0 Can Create Production-Level Visuals And Think for Itself

OpenAI has introduced ChatGPT Images 2.0, the latest version of its image generator, one year after the release of version 1.0.

The new system adds thinking capabilities and focuses on automated visual creation for more advanced tasks.

OpenAI says Images 2.0 can research and combine information from the web to create detailed production-level visuals. The company is positioning the tool as a way to automate end-to-end visual workflows.

The tool can remove backgrounds, adjust aspect ratios, and generate up to eight images at once. Output resolution supports up to 2K.

OpenAI says the updated generator performs strongly when creating infographics and diagrams. It is also said to improve image fidelity across a wider range of languages.

The company added that Images 2.0 follows prompts more accurately and preserves requested details more effectively.

ChatGPT Images 2.0 is available to all ChatGPT users. The “Images with thinking” mode is limited to Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise subscription plans.
