Detailed Report
Students across Pakistan studying science subjects can now apply for the Asian Science Camp 2026, which will take place from August 2 to 8 at the University of Hong Kong. The Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) will sponsor five students for the program. Selection will be based on merit through a two-stage process.
The camp brings together students from different countries to present ideas, take part in scientific discussions, and demonstrate their work in front of leading scientists. Participants will also visit research facilities, laboratories, industrial sites, and universities as part of the program.
Applicants must be between 17 and 22 years old as of July 31 and enrolled as regular science students. Eligibility includes students in Grades 11 and 12, as well as those in the first or second semester of a university, whether public or private.
Candidates must show strong academic performance in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
Shortlisted applicants will first appear in a written test, which will be held in Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Karachi, Sukkur, Quetta, and Peshawar. Those who pass will be called to Islamabad for interviews. The final selection of five students will be made on merit, and the panel’s decision will be final.
No travel or daily allowance will be provided for the test or interview.
Application forms are available on the PSF website. Completed hard copies must be sent to the Pakistan Science Foundation office in Islamabad, with the envelope marked “ASC-2026 Competition.” Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
The deadline for submissions, originally April 6, has been extended to April 25. For queries, applicants can email [email protected] or call 051-9203186.
