Detailed Report
Google is offering a new promotion that gives subscribers to its Google AI Pro plan a 50% discount on the YouTube Premium annual plan in select markets.
In the US, where the annual YouTube Premium plan now costs $160, eligible subscribers can get it for $80.
Google also said the annual subscription will continue to renew at the discounted $80 yearly rate after signup, making it a longer-term savings option for qualifying users.
The offer is only available in selected countries, including the US, Brazil, Canada, Germany, France, and Japan.
It is a limited-time promotion running until April 29.
Google has recently been expanding the value of its AI Pro plan. The company previously increased included cloud storage from 2TB to 5TB without raising the monthly price.
The latest YouTube Premium offer adds another incentive as Google continues promoting its Gemini-related subscription services.
YouTube Premium benefits include ad-free video playback, background listening, offline downloads, and access to newer Gemini-powered features.
The discounted plan is only available to the Google One plan manager or family organizer.
Other members of a household or family plan are not included in the promotion and would need separate subscriptions at regular pricing.
For users who only need a single YouTube Premium subscription, the bundled offer could provide a lower-cost way to access both AI Pro services and Premium video features.
