Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a scheduled power suspension in multiple areas on Saturday due to ongoing maintenance and development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply in the Rawalpindi City Circle will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm in areas served by Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Tehmasamabad, Dhok Hukamdad, RIC, and Rahimabad feeders.
Under the GSO Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on the 132 kV Chakwal–Bhagwal–Talagang and 132 kV Kahuta City–Palandri transmission lines.
Additionally, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, electricity supply will remain suspended on the 132 kV transmission line at New Wah Bahter More and adjoining areas.
IESCO stated that power supply may be restored earlier if maintenance work is completed ahead of schedule and apologized for the inconvenience caused to consumers.
