Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Rao Abdul Karim has approved the filling of 371 vacant posts in Murree police, ending the suspension of recruitment since May 2025.

The DPO said the department will disqualify any candidate found using political influence, recommendations or other illegal means during the recruitment process.
