FBR Sets Up New Customs Station at Pak-Iran Border

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has established a new customs station at the Pak-Iran border to facilitate passengers and handle personal baggage arriving from Iran.

According to a notification issued through SRO 530(I)/2026, the new customs station, named Jeerak, has been set up in District Panjgur. The move is aimed at improving passenger convenience and streamlining cross-border movement.

The development builds on earlier efforts to enhance trade and connectivity at the Pak-Iran border. In January 2025, the government opened a new crossing point in the Kohak Cheedgi area of Panjgur to promote legal trade and economic activity in Balochistan.

The Jeerak station marks another step toward strengthening border infrastructure, facilitating regulated movement, and supporting growing trade and travel between Pakistan and Iran.
