The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced its electricity supply arrangements for Eid ul-Fitr, assuring consumers of uninterrupted power during the holidays.
IESCO Chief Executive Officer Engineer Chaudhry Khalid Mahmood said in a statement that all necessary measures have been finalized to ensure a smooth and continuous electricity supply, allowing people to celebrate Eid without inconvenience.
He added that the company had already successfully maintained 100 percent uninterrupted power supply during the holy month of Ramadan, especially during Sehr and Iftar timings.
According to him, this performance reflects IESCO’s commitment to being a consumer-friendly organization.
The CEO also appreciated the efforts of officers and staff, noting that they carried out their duties responsibly despite observing fasts.
“Due to their dedication, consumers were able to perform their prayers and daily activities without disruption,” he said.
To ensure efficient operations during Eid, monitoring rooms have been established, and complaint offices will remain operational 24/7.
According to the statement, Chief Engineer Distribution Zahid Saleem Usmani has been appointed as the focal person to supervise all electricity supply operations during the Eid holidays.
