Faisalabad Traffic Police Issues Number Plate Advisory for Motorcyclists

The City Traffic Police Faisalabad has shared an important update for motorcycle owners, stating that no fee will be charged for Excise Department number plates. The police shared the information on its social media platforms, advising citizens to prepare their motorcycle plates themselves according to the Excise Department’s prescribed format.
According to the shared guidelines, motorcycle number plates must be made of white metal with clearly visible black embossed letters and numbers.

The guidelines also specify a 10 mm margin on the sides, top and bottom of the plate. The rectangular plate should have character heights of 30 to 35 mm, while characters on the square plate should measure 45 to 50 mm.
Motorcycle owners have been advised to follow the prescribed size and specifications and avoid using non-standard number plates. The City Traffic Police Faisalabad also urged citizens to comply with the law and ensure safe travel.
